Hannah and Ron

Hannah and Fall Leaves

When we got out of church today, Hannah was stomping in the leaves in the parking lot. I threw some up in the air, and she loved it. So we went home and raked up a small pile of leaves in our front yard. Ron was freaking out like always if we are outside and he's not, so we let him out to come play with us. He loves anything that we throw up in the air...bubbles, snow, and I just found out today that he loves leaves just as much. And even better, Hannah died laughing when she saw him jump for the leaves. So it made it pretty easy to get a picture of her smiling.

Funny & Random Things Hannah Does and Halloween

First Time Trick or Treater

GOT CANDY?

I love those blue eyes!

- Today as we were sitting at the table for lunch, Hannah got the bright red, I'm pooping, look on her face. She hasn't gone in about two days. Jodee asked her if she was pooping. Hannah looks up and says "It's stuck". That alone was pretty funny. But about a minute later she says "I got it" in a high pitched voice.

- We don't know where she got this from, but she has been counting from one to twelve. I have tried to capture it on film, but every time I pull out the camera, she won't do it.

- She has been singing the ABC song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for a while. But recently because they have the same tune, she has been mixing the two songs together. "A, B, C, D, E, F, G, How I wonder what you are, up above the world so high...."

- Ever since she has been talking, we have tried to get her to say, I love you. She'll copy every other word or phrase that we say, except that. When we told her that we loved her, she would just look at us. But this past week, she started to tell us that she loves us. Finally.
- Last night as we were trick or treating, she said a lot of funny things. Jodee and I each had one of her hands. She would squat down and bounce up, but she calls it a jump. She says "Jumping, so fun". - At one of the houses we went to, I stayed at the sidewalk as Jodee took her to the door. She realized that I wasn't up there with her, she asked "Where's Daddy?". Jodee told her that I stayed back. She looked back at me and yelled "DADDY". I guess I wasn't allowed to stay back. To really enjoy all of these stories, would have to had seen her face at that moment.
-At almost every house, she walked right in like we were going to stay. We did know every one that we went to. She also took two pieces of candy from every bucket! She's thinking of Mommy AND Daddy! What a good little girl.

One night as all of us were sitting around, Hannah started playing with the door. Opening and closing it. She thought that it was sooo funny, like she says in the video. She says almost anything now. It's not always clear, but she's talking a lot.

This is also my first video that I have edited. Pretty sweet huh. OK, I know it looks like a 10 year old did it, but it was fun.

July Vacations

Over the past month we have gone on a couple of weekend vacations. Over the 4th we went to Bear Lake with my family (The Higgins side). We played at the beach, golfed, and just hung out with my family. Over the 24th we drove to Jackson Hole with Jodee's family (The Sheffields). Jodee's brother lives in Idaho Falls, so we spent the first night there and drove to Jackson the next day. We camped just outside of Jackson. Hannah loved to be outdoors all weekend. We had a lot of fun on both trips. The pictures are a little out of order. The beach pictures and the owl are Bear Lake. Except the one with Hannah holding the big rock, thats in Jackson by the Snake River. The others are from Jackson.

More randoms Pics...

I just got some pictures from my mom that she has taken over the past 2-3 months.

Grandmas Glasses

My mom has about 3-4 pairs of reading glasses laying around the house. She has gone through about fifty pairs because all the grandkids think it is fun to wear them. They eventually get broken in one way or another. Hannah loves to wear them. Hopefully she gets her moms good vision and not mine.

Our Little Star

Hannah loves to sing and dance. Jodee sings to her all of the time. Hannah will sing (mumble) along with her until she hears a word that she knows. And then she'll say that word and keep mumbling the rest. She loves to do the actions to a lot of the songs as well.

Head Shoulders Knees and Toes

Hannah has been picking up on a lot of stuff recently. She will try and say things that we say. Jodee teaches her all sorts of actions and she picks up on them quickly. As of right now, we have counted about 30 words that she can say. We can't believe how fast she is growing. She'll be smarter than us in no time.

Swinging Into Spring

Blustery Day at the Park.

Today the four of us (including Ron) walked to Smoot Park. Hannah loved the spiral slide and the swings. The weather has been awesome for the last week, but today it got really windy. Regardless, we had a lot of fun. Hannah could care less if there was wind. She just loves to be outside. It is one of her favorite things to do. When I get home from work, she gives me a hug and points to the door for me to take her outside. If she had it her way, she would spend all of her time out there. She is becoming one with mother nature. Last week, she had her first taste of dirt. Mmmm. I was watching her do it too. I didn't think that she would, but she did. Kids are great!
